Argentina S2F Trackers

Grumman S2F / S-2 Trackers in service with the Argentina Navy Listed in numerical order by Argentina Navy Aircraft Number I wish to thank Santiago L. Aversa for providing me information and numbers of four Trackers I was unaware of still being used by the Argentine Navy or on display or in storage. This is excellent information and we are very grateful for his continuing assistance. The first four numbers listed below (700-704 are the Argentine Navy Serial numbers. The numbers following are call signs which can change depending on which unit it is serving with. These below in this section are all Turbo Trackers, having been converted by the Argentine Navy Workshop in 1996 time frame. This is all great information!!

153568	S-2G	Santa Romana Museum	Argentine Navy Serial Number 0862/2-AS-29. Repainted as 2-AS-24 for Display purposes. Provided spared parts for the rest of the active fleet before going on display. Grumman Serial Number 324C.
