This is the original Grumman Tracker to be released by the Navy to be flown as a warbird in 1984.  The first owner of this S2F was Doc Harrison and was the subject of an Air Classics feature article and cover photo in Dec of 1984.  This aircraft operated and flew to air shows each summer and was the only current Tracker flying at air shows in the early 21st century.

147535 S-2D Allied Air Force, Allen Town,  PA This aircraft was registered as N2195Y but was de-listed in May of 2003 and taken apart for spares.  It was no longer at Allentown as of June  2004 when the webmaster visited the airport, and according to the FBO, it had been cut up and shipped elsewhere.  From the photos this looked to be a very nice looking aircraft.  Before its demise this Tracker had been put up for sale on Ebay and had a high bid of $45,100, which did not meet the reserve price.  The aircraft had 5,523 hours on the aircframe and 683 hours on the right engine and 1014 hours on the left engine since major overhaul.
