USA S2F Trackers

S2F/S-2 Trackers currently registered in the USA Listed in numerical order by US Navy Bureau Number 136427 in flight over Indiana The CDF operates 23 of the upgraded S-2FAT Turbo Trackers from Marsh Aviation in Mesa, AZ. These aircraft are the original Grumman airframes that have been gutted of all wiring, plumbing, and other internal parts and rebuilt as new aircraft with turbine engines. With the new Turbines and he rock solid Grumman "Iron Works" airframe these aircraft will last indefinitely. These particular aircraft are now registered as Marsh built rather than Grumman due to the total rebuild. The last 3 of the Marsh aircraft were delivered in 2005. When it is complete the 2 aircraft will swap places so restoration can begin on the S2F-1, which was not a US-2B conversion and retains the number 3 and 4 stations. This one is named "Sub-Standard".
